Aeriel Jordan Frederick was born November 27, 1987, the daughter of Angela Carolyn Cline and Anthony
Titus Frederick, of West Liberty, Kentucky, a small rural town in eastern Kentucky. When Aeriel was born, she was “Baby
Sister” to her five year old brother, Chase Bentley, a blessing she continues to enjoy.
Aeriel
has spent all her eighteen years growing up in an area outside West Liberty called White Oak, near relatives of both
her parents. The family home is an expansive stone structure, built around the turn of the twentieth century by Aeriel's
mother’s ancestors and purchased later by Aeriel's father’s family. The impressive dwelling was renovated
by Aeriel's grandfather, much before her birth. The stability and security of family enriched Aeriel's life and has
been the foundation for the development of a fine young lady. As Aeriel grew up in the midst of relatives and friends,
she enjoyed the family pond, the huge yard, the beautiful flowers, and her beloved pets. She enjoyed the family vacations,
the sleepovers with friends and cousins, and all her school activities.
Aeriel's interest in music developed
early, and she began singing when she began talking. Her father’s love for music was instilled in her and
also her brother; they shared musical moments, while her mother encouraged with pride. She sang in family weddings,
and all her relatives enjoyed and supported her as she progressed. Aeriel began taking piano lessons when she was ten
years old, quickly developing her talent. The defining moment, however, in both Aeriel's life and her musical career
was a year later when she became a Christian on March 15, 1998. Her life was changed, and her love of music was nurtured.
Church became the place that she could not only worship her Lord but also sing His praises with the exceptional talent the
Lord had bestowed upon her.
Aeriel attended grade school at West Liberty Elementary, where she was an honor student. The fall of 2006, she
will begin her first year of college, attending Morehead State University.
She is a very active member of Grace Baptist
Church where she continues to display her musical abilities. She plays piano, she writes and sings her songs, and she
teaches interpretative music to her group, “Hands of Praise.” Additionally, Aeriel is currently a member
of two musical groups – the Grace Baptist Church Praise Band and her own group, Sacred. For her future she is
considering pharmacy– but whatever she decides, it will be what the Lord directs and He has already directed that it
will include music.
